TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
It is our intent and desire to train and develop our Management personnel so that each may perform to his/her best ability. The initial training is an on-the-job program of nine weeks duration, designed to develop necessary restaurant technical skills. Additional development programs are available on a continuing basis as your career develops.

WAGES:
Managers in Training and Assistant Managers wage base is calculated on an hourly basis with a 50-hour work schedule. Associate Managers and higher are compensated on a salary basis. We try to work a five-day work week with two consecutive days off.

PAY PERIODS:
Pancho’s pays every two weeks.

DIRECT DEPOSIT:
To ensure security of your pay we prefer to direct deposit to your bank. This allows quick and secure transfer of funds

INCENTIVE PROGRAM:
Pancho’s provides its Management team with incentive participation from restaurant profits. Associate Managers and higher are eligible to participate in any such granted incentives for the restaurant in which they are assigned. Incentive is computed and granted quarterly to eligible participants.

VACATION:
Upon completion of one year’s employment, you will be eligible for two weeks granted vacation. At the completion of 10 years of continuous employment, your granted vacation time will be extended to three weeks.

HOLIDAYS:
Pancho’s operated restaurants are open to serve our customers daily, closing only two days out of the year – Thanksgiving and Christmas.

CAFETERIA PLAN SECTION 125:
You may participate in the Cafeteria Plan for the following year. This is a method in which insurance premiums are deducted prior to taxes.

HEALTH COVERAGE:
After thirty days of employment to the beginning of the next month three plans become available to you and your immediate dependents: (1) major medical, (2) first dollar coverage, and (3) pharmacy, dental, vision and hearing.

TERM LIFE INSURANCE:
After thirty days of employment to the beginning of the next month you become eligible for term life insurance. Your dependents may also participate.

LONG TERM DISABILITY:
Following thirty days of service as an Associate Manager and earning $18,000, you become eligible for long term disability coverage. This plan provides income should you become disabled. Benefit computation is based on base income at the time of disability, less any offsetting payment of Social Security, or other plans. Payment of LTD benefits generally commences ninety days after the date of disability and continues throughout the period in which you remain disabled, up to age 65.

MEALS:
Pancho’s not only encourages, but also expects, members of its Management team to continually test and evaluate the quality of the food that they serve. Therefore, you will not be charged for meals, which you eat in your restaurant, while you are working. A discount program is available for the immediate family.

RELOCATION:
To take advantage of opportunities or advancement, Management should be able to relocate. If the Company requests your relocation, after being employed and functioning in a management capacity, Pancho’s reimburses appropriate relocation expenses.





Pancho's Mexican Buffet is a family restaurant that was relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in January 1966. By 1969, Pancho's operated nine restaurants in Fort Worth, Dallas, Bossier City, Louisiana and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. With these stores, the company had more than 350 employees.
